Enhancement of Optical Chirality Using Metasurfaces for Enantiomer-Selective Molecular Sensing

چکیده

Circular dichroism (CD) is a physical property observed in chiral molecules by inducing the difference of absorption between left- and right-handed circularly polarized light (CPL). spectroscopy widely used field chemistry biology to distinguish enantiomers, which typically show either positive or severe side effects biological applications depending on molecular structures’ chirality. To effectively detect chirality molecules, diverse designs nanostructured platforms are proposed based optical resonances that can enhance amplify signal circular dichroism. However, underlying physics resonance nanostructure largely unexplored, thus designing rules for optimal detection still elusive. Here, we carry out an in-depth analysis enhancement (C enhancement) surfaces find relationship Based relations, optimize metasurface induce effective enantiomers conditions molecule distribution.
